    Disney Lorcana: Fabled

    Fabled is the ninth Disney Lorcana set and it starts a new era for the game. It adds two new rarities, Epic and Iconic, along with fresh characters, returning favorites, and a major competitive set rotation.

    The set brings A Goofy Movie into Lorcana for the first time. More than half of the cards are reprints from earlier sets.

    Set Rotation

    When Fabled releases, the first four Lorcana sets rotate out of competitive play. That trims the card pool and keeps decks fresh. Reprints from those sets remain legal. You can use any printed version of a reprinted card as long as it matches the updated set number from Fabled.

    Example: Elsa - Snow Queen from The First Chapter is reprinted as an Epic in Fabled. The set number on that version is 9, so the original printing becomes legal again under set 9 as well.

    New Rarities

    • Epic - Full art with rainbow foil. Rarer than Legendary, easier to find than Enchanted. There are 18 Epics in Fabled.
    • Iconic - Borderless alternate art with a custom foil pattern and 3D hot stamp effects. Only 2 Iconic cards exist in this set.

    Both Epic and Iconic cards can appear in the foil slot and replace the usual foil or special rarity card. Enchanted cards from past sets are not being reprinted in Fabled.

    Release Dates

    • August 29, 2025 - Local game stores and select Disney Parks
    • September 5, 2025 - Larger retailers and shopDisney

    Many stores will run pre-release events with a promo. Some will offer a buy-a-box promo for picking up a full booster box.

    Products

    • Booster Packs - 12 cards per pack. Two are Rare or higher. The last slot is a foil of any rarity or an Epic or an Iconic.
    • Illumineer’s Trove - 8 boosters, storage box, dividers, dice, and a lore tracker.
    • Starter Decks - Amber and Sapphire, and Emerald and Ruby. Each has 60 cards plus one booster.
    • Collection Starter Set - Four pocket binder, 4 boosters, and a Tinker Bell promo.
    • Gift Box - Storage box, 5 boosters, 3 dividers, and an Elsa promo.

    For a big opening, a booster box from your local game store is usually the best value. Pull rates are not guaranteed.

    Card Count

    The main set has 204 numbered cards. On top of that, there are 18 Epics, 18 Enchanted, and 2 Iconic cards. More reveals are still coming.
